Here it all begins...

All of a sudden, I came up with the thought in my head, that I arrived here many years ago and I still have not even explored Victoria enough, let alone the whole of Australia! Why can’t I start my Australian explorations just from where I’m living?

I shared this thought with my friends, and they were all thrilled. We listed all the small villages and cities in the state of which we wanted to explore. This is the beginning of our expeditions through Victoria.

First stop, Warburton, not quite familiar with the name and place (can’t even properly pronounce it), only because I got the name from my mate, after my Google research, I found out that its just 1 and half hours drive from Melbourne. We agreed that we would visit this lovely place this Weekend! Can’t wait!

Driving to Warburton was such a blessing! It feels like we were going somewhere far away from the city and be able to disappear from the crowds completely.

Everything around us is so fresh and green, you won’t realise that you’re just 2 hours away from the city, instead of  thinking you’re probably in a massive forest.

Arriving at Warburton was an interesting experience. The first impression was that this mini town has such a musical and vibrant atmosphere.  The place is not big…at all, didn’t take much time for me to walk around. Secondly, It was the Harmony festival the weekend we arrived.  Walking down the shopping street, I felt like going back into time.

The part I love about Warburton the most is the river that floats along the village. The water is so clean that you can easily see the bottom and spot some fish.
